Assistant Store Manager


Position Overview Assistant Store Manager provide guidance and education to each patient with medical marijuana needs. Managers will assist patients to ensure their receiving the correct medication that will best benefit the patient’s specific illness and medical condition. Will also assist with managerial duties such as scheduling, maintaining the sales floor and inventory, managing breaks and handling escalated situations that may arise. Areas of Responsibility as Followed Provide Exceptional Customer Care by promoting and maintaining positive customer relations. Maintaining the schedule for shifts and breaks Respond to calls from customers requesting product and general information or manger calls Responsible for the sales and promotion of all Desert Rose products. Cash handling Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Two years of direct customer service experience required. Retail experience and cash handling is preferred Experience with Point-of-Sales (POS) systems Prior management required at least 2 years of experience Background Check As a condition of employment, all employees are required to submit to a background check. Employment decisions are in compliance with AZ state laws and are based on an employee’s background report at the time of hire. Employees have a duty to report any changes in their background to their Manager as soon as the employee is aware of any event. Physical Demands The physical demands must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of their job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk, sit, use hands, tools, talk or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
