DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Compliance Administrative Support- - Track, submit, monitor, and communicate status for Dispensary and Grower Agent card processing for all new applications and annual renewals with all involved parties. - Assist with in-house fingerprints, or refer to a fingerprint provider if required, and gather all agent license forms for successful submission to state regulatory entities. - Manage entire Dispensary and Grower Agent card license processes for our national organization and for any third-party agreements that require agent licensing oversight and management. - Provide administrative support with faxes, copies, mailing, file organization, and preparation. - Compile and maintain regulatory documentation databases or systems; offer continual suggestions for process improvement, streamlining and efficiency in these systems and processes. - Coordinate efforts associated with the preparation of regulatory documents or submissions with - -- Human Resources, Facility Managers, and Legal Department. - Collaborate with the Legal Department to determine the required regulatory submissions or internal documentation for changes. - Maintain current knowledge base of existing and emerging regulations, standards, and guidance documents. - Obtain and distribute updated information regarding regulations, laws, guidelines, or standards in the form of Standard Operating Procedures. - Prepare and assist with the preparation of additional information or responses as requested by regulatory agencies in conjunction with the Regulatory Compliance Specialist and Legal. - Handle requests and queries appropriately and using good judgement. - Participate in the preparation for audits and inspections from the State of Arizona in support of the - Regulatory Compliance Specialist, as requested. - Accounting Support- - Complete tasks related to basic bookkeeping and license expense tracking in collaboration with and under the direction of the Accounting Department. - Assist in data entry of records and ensure that they are properly, timely, and accurately completed related to agent card initial applications and ongoing renewals to monitor actual and projected costs associate with licensing. Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS * - Proven success with detail-oriented work, fast paced environments, handling many open items that require ongoing follow up, and constant eye on process optimization is required. - Prior experience in a regulatory compliance position, familiarity with dispensary and grower agent licenses, and experience in the cannabis industry is a plus. - Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to positively influence people; must be capable of effectively interacting at all levels in the organization. - Open availability and willingness to be flexible with scheduling. - Basic bookkeeping skills is a plus. - Proficiency using MS Office applications. - Excellent writing and editing skills; strong organizational skills. - Knowledge of office management systems and procedures. - Superior customer service skills and phone etiquette. - Must be able to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines. - Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 10+ pounds if related to job duties. - Throughout extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the work day. Must be capable of sitting in front of a computer for extended periods of time. -At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US; proper employment documentation.
