Job Summary We are one of the fastest-growing cannabis startups in the nation, and we’re looking for a motivated and driven Field Sales Representatives to join our team. The Field Sales Representative will be responsible for prospecting and closing new business in their assigned territory via cold-calling, in-store presentations, and participation in industry trade shows and networking events. You would be working for an established company with an extensive product line and a well-known brand. You will also receive extensive support from our account management and marketing teams, ensuring you have all the tools you need to close sales and build a successful career in the cannabis industry. Responsibilities and Duties Responsibilities Prospect new accounts using WeedMaps, social media, and other online tools Set up meetings with dispensary purchasing managers via cold-calling, email, and social media outreach Visit dispensaries on a daily basis to drop off samples, understand customer pain points and desires, and make sales presentations Use a customer-focused, consultative sales process to educate prospects on what products will best fit their needs Follow-up with prospective accounts via phone, email and SMS to stay top of and close new business Collaborate with our account management team to ensure a seamless on boarding experience for new clients Respond to phone and e-mail inquiries in a timely, efficient and professional manner Maintain expert-level knowledge on our full product catalog as well as the latest trends in the cannabis industry Work with the marketing team to develop new sales material and refine messaging Relay feedback from customers to the marketing, product and account management teams on a regular basis Participate in on-site education events, hosted company parties, networking mixers, and other events on an as-needed basis Maintain customer databases and ensure that all information is up-to-date and accurate Qualifications and Skills Skills & Experience Minimum one year sales experience required Prior experience in the medical marijuana industry strongly preferred High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree a plus Proven track record of developing a strategic sales strategy, building new business, and meeting/exceeding quotas Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Must have a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, insurance, and a clean driving and criminal record (this position will require extensive travel) Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment Proficient technical skills including use of MS Office, Google Drive Ability to travel locally 50%+ Benefits Benefits Competitive compensation: commissions paid weekly, bonuses paid monthly, stock paid with rank advancments In depth cannabis education and training programs Paid vacations and Stock Incentive Program Professional development and advancement opportunities Job Type: Commission Salary: $6,000.00 to $1,000,000.00 /year Required experience: sales: 3 years Required education: High school or equivalent Required license or certification: Driver's License Required shifts: Morning, Mid-Day, Evening
