General Manager

The General Manager position is responsible for leading, directing and guiding the sales, service and operations of three cannabis dispensaries in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The person will coach, develop and manage the locations providing both strategic and tactical direction. This person must be a hands-on leader who is open to working during all shifts and weekends. Responsibilities includes: Managing a team of three to five direct reports including leading operations, sales and customer service Ensuring quality patient care including providing guidance and direction as it relates to managing difficult customers Leading by example to create an atmosphere of trust and accountability Ability to quickly understand dispensary products and identify drivers and metrics to increase sales Ability to support a seven-day operation including holidays Communicating with all levels of the organization including frontline employees and senior leadership Willingness to work in ambiguous work environment leveraging resources to address problems quickly Managing operating costs to ensure profitability and establish sales goals Education, Experience and Skills Required: 5+ years managing sales, service and operations for multiple retail locations or a multisite organization Experience with working in a fast-paced environment with all levels of the organization Previous experience leading a retail team including motivating employees, creating a positive work environment and leading change Ability to support various managers with competing priorities Robust written and verbal communication skills Willingness to work, learn and appreciate the complexities of the cannabis industry Computer literacy with experience working with POS systems, MS Office and timekeeping software Job Type: Full-time Required experience: Management: 4 years Required education: Bachelor's
