General Manager, Maribis of Chicago Chicago, Illinois Must be 21 years of age to apply for this position. The ideal candidate will possess a college degree and have a minimum of one-year experience working within the cannabis industry, but cannabis experience isn’t necessary. Prefer retail experience. Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to: -State liaison between Maribis of Chicago and Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. -Responsible for executing all SOP’s and compliance initiatives within the Dispensary, ensuring full and complete compliance within the IL Medical Cannabis Pilot Program. -Develop and execute strategy to obtain new patients. -Strategize and execute plan for social media out reach. -Devise in house and/or out-house events for education and/or marketing. -Prepare, execute and administer various informational trade shows, swap meets, fairs, seminars and other engagements that requires Maribis of Chicago to be present and offer educational information on the medical cannabis program. -Develop the dispensary patient consultant team to deliver quality customer experiences and services, ensuring all rules, regulations and SOPs are adhered to. -Provide patient consultants with coaching, feedback, and developmental objectives. -Drive the implementation of dispensary programs by motivating and supporting the patient consultants to meet dispensary objectives. -Plan, identify, and communicate responsibilities to patient consultants to ensure a smooth flow of operations within the dispensary. -Review dispensary environments and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns, and/or opportunities for improvement and development. -Create and implement strategies to achieve operational efficiency and obtain optimal results. -Solicits feedback to understand patient needs and the needs of the community. -Utilizes seed-to-sale system to analyze any potential issues in staff and/or dispensing system, trends and various reporting. -Implement sale initiatives including: weekly sales, flash sales and holiday sales, ensuring email blasts and social media objectives are met, sent and posted.
