Outside Sales Rep
A client of GreenForce is looking for an experienced sales rep to join their team. The ideal candidate is someone who is a natural relationship builder, comfortable with making cold calls, and can confidently and enthusiastically talk about cannabis. They must be highly motivated, able to set and achieve sales goals, and have your own reliable transportation. This is a full-time, commission based, outside sales position based out of the client’s Portland office. Job Summary As an account manager, you would be the face of the company. You are expected to not only make sales but to also build and promote long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships by partnering with dispensaries and understanding their needs. Your days will be spent cold calling, visiting new and existing clients, demoing our products, and recording your interactions in our CRM system. Hours are somewhat flexible but this is a full-time position expected to work at least 40 hours per week and attend mandatory meetings. Must be and remain compliant with all legal and company regulations required for working in this industry. Responsibilities -Understand our client’s philosophy and be able to speak knowledgeably about who they are, what products they offer, and what sets them apart from the competition -Set and achieve sales targets by cold-calling to create new relationships and maintaining existing relationships -Represent the client in dispensaries by building relationships with Intake Managers, Bud Tenders, and consumers -Perform demos at the client’s dispensaries to strengthen their relationship and build their brand -Collaborate with the rest of the sales team on sales goals, events, and new opportunities -Communicate with the Inventory Team to stay current on available product and coordinate orders -Collect accounts receivable -Respond effectively to feedback from customers regarding product issues, rejected orders, or concerns; and ensures communication is shared with other departments and leadership as needed -Cultivate communication with leadership and marketing teams on demands and trends within the industry to help Pistil Point stay ahead of trends -Track all sales communications based on department SOPs -Represent the company at industry events, conferences or networking meetings Requirements -Valid OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit (or application in “Ready to Pay” status”) -Valid driver’s license -Over 21 years old -Reliable personal vehicle -1+ years experience in direct sales -Must own a cell phone and laptop -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Proficient computer and social media skills -Understanding of OLCC compliance laws for the cannabis industry -Flexible to work some evenings or weekends (vendor events, networking events etc.) *OLCC permit is required before any placement can occur.
