Come grow with Southwest Mobile Storage in our Pure Greens division as a Grower! As a Grower you have the opportunity to work with your peers and fellow Growers for hands on training, learning the responsibilities, day to day activities, project planning, and horticultural growing techniques that meet Pure Greens standards of producing high quality plants. Greenhouse Duties include: 1. Assist in the order process, quality control, loading and unloading of trucks. 2. Train and work in Production with Production Supervisors, crew leader and crew learning day to day operations for production of high-quality plant material. 3. Train and work in Container Maintenance including spacing plants, trimming plants, fertilizing, watering, consolidation of plant material, basic construction skills and pest/disease identification and controls. 4. Learn nuances of different growing areas as well as the different types of crops grown in each. Monitor water lines and be aware of and monitor conditions such as ventilation, light conditions, temperature and humidity. Required Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED. At least 1 year of horticulture work experience. This position requires outdoor/indoor work in all weather conditions daily. Willing to learn open book management & positively contribute to the financial success and growth of the company. Read and speak English.
